Being a hooper that has dealt with many set backs, I understand the challenges of balancing a busy schedule and staying in shape to play the game we love.
Longevity enthusiast, here to help others move better & improve their quality of life.
Health & wellness is a common topic of conversation in the family. Leading me to realise it's my calling, given the unique combination of interests, skills, and personal experience.
Circa 2014
Despite only starting to play basketball in my teens, I had close friends who were among the best players in our age group. Their habits influenced me, and I soon recognised the need to improve. My competitive drive pushed me to consistently work hard, eventually I fell in love with this process. As the saying goes, "Your work works on you more than you work on it."
Beginning’s of Basketball journey (shoutout coach Lap!)
Obstacles & injuries
This journey, which has been filled with obstacles, mainly learning from top players and NOT coaches. My self-developed training methods, while offering freedom of movement, led to frequent overuse issues. Regular visits to physiotherapists from age 17 to 24 brought little success until a friend recommended Joint Dynamics. This helped me understand my issues, and finally rehabilitate them without relapses. This successful experience led me to work at their clinic for a year, refining my understanding of biomechanics.
Through My Journey
Drawing from my extensive rehab journey, I aim to make this experience more productive by helping other players save time and maximize their athletic potential. In HK, there are many skill trainers and Strength & Conditioning trainers, only a few with basketball experience, and even fewer with an eye for problematic biomechanics.
My Belief
With my NASM certification, nearly a decade of training others, and experience working in a physiotherapy clinic, I believe I'm uniquely qualified to assist individuals who wish to move better, athletes, and especially hoopers. Below is a brief outline of my method.
